September was a wild month for me. It kicked off quickly with my work experience period starting. I was trained up in reception skills to be useful and underwent some work with the marketing girls. I did so well that the workplace offered to hire me. I will now be working in a casual position but I am so ready to get some money in my pocket and learn more!
I didn’t think I would read that much due to working most days of the week for work experience. I managed to shock myself and read 20 books which equalled 6236 pages. I managed to finish a couple audiobooks this month too on the bus to and from work!
As it is with these wrap-ups, most of these reviews will start appearing in the next few weeks so keep an eye out!
Wow, August went by fast. I’m not even sure why. I think it’s because I had to do so much for university as I tried to get ahead before I start work experience in September. I don’t think I’m going to get much reading done in September, yikes. I typically read over ten books so I’m a little nervous. But, that is not this month.
I didn’t do a lot throughout August. I did multiple university assignments, started walking my dog every day, my arthritis medication finally started to work. I didn’t do anything socially, so it was a tad bit of a boring month in terms of a social life.
My reading month was all over the place though. I read some books I loved and I read some books I hated. I had some of my most anticipated releases let me down and I had some shock books that I absolutely loved. I read way more books than I even thought I would this month as well.
Over August I read 26 books and 7,929 pages. I find the page count interesting, so I’m going to start adding it to my wrap-ups!
A lot of my reviews I have written for my August reads haven’t been published yet. I scheduled all my posts for September, which are mostly these reviews. I hope you all stick around to read them!
Happy end of April everyone! I’m pleased to be able to say I had an awesome month. There were a few downs – but when doesn’t life have done? The month was primarily filled with ups. I just really enjoyed my time and felt as though I was making leaps and bounds with repairing my mental health (yay!).
I’m also happy to say I read nineteen books this month. That feels a lot more like myself, I was hoping for 20 but I’m pretty proud of this! I’m not sure how many I will read next month considering I go away for around five days in the middle of May, plus it’s the knuckle down in uni month. So, crushing my own expectations in April will mean I won’t be too crushed by myself next month!
On top of that, I also finished my reading goal for the year. I set my goal pretty low because I wasn’t sure where I would be health wise and studying wise. 50 books seemed achievable but it is now April and I’ve read sixty-six books. I’m pretty stoked if I do say so myself. How are your reading goals going? What did you set it as?
I figure I better stop blabbing now since you’re here to find out what I did read. I’ve linked to where I’ve written the reviews, a few books haven’t had their reviews published just yet but I linked to the Goodreads review I wrote. Stick around and those reviews will be coming very soon!
